General Terms and Conditions for the online shop www.yarahair.store
Last updated: October 2026
§ 1 Scope
(1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded via the online shop www.yarahair.store between Yará Hair, owner Jennifer Yeboah, Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 81, 28327 Bremen (hereinafter “we” or “Yará Hair”) and our customers (hereinafter “Customer”).
(2) A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity (§ 13 BGB). A business (entrepreneur) is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity (§ 14 BGB).
(3) Deviating terms and conditions of the Customer do not become part of the contract unless we expressly agree to their validity.
§ 2 Contracting party and contract language
(1) The purchase contract is concluded with Yará Hair, owner Jennifer Yeboah, Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 81, 28327 Bremen, email: yara.official@yahoo.com.
(2) The contract language is German.
§ 3 Conclusion of the contract
(1) The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.
(2) The Customer places the desired products in the shopping cart and enters the ordering process via the “Checkout” button. There, the Customer enters their contact, delivery and payment details and selects the shipping and payment method. Before submitting the order, the Customer can review all details in an overview and correct them using the browser’s back function or the editable fields in the ordering process.
(3) By clicking the final order button (“Pay now” or “Order with obligation to pay”), the Customer submits a binding offer to purchase the products in the shopping cart.
(4) Immediately after submitting the order, the Customer receives an order confirmation by email. Upon receipt of this order confirmation, we accept the Customer’s offer and the contract is concluded.
(5) If, exceptionally, an ordered product is not available, we will inform the Customer without undue delay and refund any payments already made without undue delay.
§ 4 Storage of the contract text
We store the contract text and send the Customer the order data and these GTC by email with the order confirmation. The GTC can also be accessed at any time at www.yarahair.store/en/policies/terms-of-service. A Customer with a customer account can view their past orders there.
§ 5 Prices and shipping costs
(1) All prices are final prices. In accordance with § 19 UStG (German small business regulation), no VAT is charged or shown.
(2) Shipping costs are charged in addition to the prices unless otherwise stated for the product or in the ordering process. Shipping costs are listed in our shipping policy and are clearly displayed in the ordering process before the order is placed.
§ 6 Payment
(1) The payment methods displayed in the ordering process are available in the online shop. These are generally credit and debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay (processed via Shopify Payments), PayPal and Klarna.
(2) The purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract. For payment by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or PayPal, the amount is charged via the respective payment service provider when the order is completed.
(3) For payment via Klarna (e.g. invoice, instalments or immediate payment), processing is carried out by Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden. Klarna’s terms and conditions apply additionally; the availability of individual Klarna payment methods is subject to a check by Klarna.
§ 7 Delivery
(1) We currently deliver exclusively to delivery addresses in Germany.
(2) The delivery time is stated for the respective product or in our shipping policy. It begins on the day after receipt of payment. If the last day of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday at the place of delivery, the period ends on the next business day.
(3) If the Customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the goods passes to the Customer only upon handover to the Customer. If the Customer is a business, the risk passes upon handover of the goods to the carrier.
§ 8 Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.
§ 9 Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details, exceptions and the model withdrawal form can be found in our cancellation policy. Consumers can also declare their withdrawal using our withdrawal function under “Withdraw from contract”.
§ 10 Characteristics of human hair products
(1) Our wigs are made of 100% human hair. Human hair is a natural product. Shade, shine and texture may therefore vary slightly within the same colour designation. The display on screens may differ from the actual shade.
(2) Length specifications in inches refer to the hair measured when straightened. Wavy and curly textures appear shorter than the stated length when worn.
(3) Product photos may show styling examples. The information in the product description (e.g. texture, length, density, lace type and colour) is decisive for the characteristics of the product.
§ 11 Warranty
(1) The statutory rights regarding liability for defects apply.
(2) If the Customer is a business, the limitation period for claims for defects is one year from delivery of the goods; the duty to inspect and give notice of defects pursuant to § 377 HGB remains unaffected. This reduction does not apply to claims for damages or in cases of liability under § 12(1).
(3) We ask that obvious transport damage be reported to the delivery driver immediately if possible and that you inform us. This does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights.
§ 12 Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) and to the extent of any guarantee assumed.
(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, i.e. an obligation whose fulfilment is a prerequisite for the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the Customer may regularly rely, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
(3) Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
§ 13 Dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
§ 14 Final provisions
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence.
(2) If the Customer is a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Bremen.
(3) Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
